Its pretty much a way to let everyone know where your at and what your doing every second of your day. People can find out what other people are doing or where there at simply by looking at their page. One of the points that the author makes is how you or someone else can post something, and it will pop up all over twitter, like on your page all your friends pages and just the whole twitter itself. Response: When reading this article I learned pretty much the whole idea of twitter and why it was made. In the beginning it was used for business purposes, as a way to connect wit co-workers easier, but then it turned into a social thing and now everyone is on it like they do facebook, or myspace. I feel that the usage of twitter is getting out of hand, and people are starting to abuse it. There are so many ways for someone to find out exactly where someone is at and what there doing just by a click of a button, and people are starting to use that to their advantage. Its cool to talk to your friends and be social, but whats the limit? like really. Its a great way to find out what your friends are doing or going to do, but to a certain extent. I used to have a twitter but I couldnt fully understand what twitter was about so I just deleted it, but Im kind if glad I dont have one any more because I been hearing all the negative aspects of twitter. Usefulness: I would like to know more about why people are so addicted to twitter and tweet everything they do, whenever they do it, and why has it become so popular. Its kind of the same thing as Facebook, and Myspace so why are people so in love with twitter.
